Lately, I have developed almost hard cystic type acne, which is NOT going away! I have used Aquaglycolic toner and cream in the past, but this is very strange. Nothing is working. I pop my pimples, which I know isn't good, but they actually hurt! I have both Glycolic acid peel 35% and combo Glycolic/lactic acid peels. I also use a buffer (pH neutralizer following). No adverse reactions. I'm a nursing student and am capable of using the peels. I cannot afford to pay the ridiculous amount they charge at the salon for the same treatment. A bottle of Glycolic acid gel is $18.95 (the professional version) and I have done at least 10 treatments and the bottle isn't even half gone. I am concerned about having high estrogen levels and am taking Myomin due to diagnosis of cherry angiomas, but it's taking forever to go away. I am devastated by this acne and I don't want to leave the house! I'm desperate to find a solution. My chin and forehead are the worst. I am a 41 year old female, with a 2 and 3 year old.
