Where you would want to be careful is in using something not designed for the face, ON the face... the reason is that the face can be more sensitive, or oily and a product designed for the body might cause a reaction. However, in THIS case, where a face product would be used on the body, there is no risk of that. For this reason, i believe that you will be OK using this product on your body acne.
